Wait - Assuming that the Morris family and the Schneider family are both indirect descendants of the Belmont line, and assuming that Reinhardt is NOT a direct Belmont, shouldn't Reinhardt die? The Morrises die if they use the whip, don't they?

That's either something that was overlooked in the story, something that IGA saw, adding to his reasons of retconning the N64 titles, or it means that Reinhardt IS infact a true Belmont.
