I cheaped him out. Tongue Well, I beat his first phase fair and square, but I cheaped out the second one. A lot. Ha!
How did you cheap him out? I used the Vol Luminato + Vol Umbra union with Dominus Agony activated and the Death Ring equipped. That does around 1500 - 2500 damage or so.

I just did a simple Melio Secare+Nitesco and Vis Fio (I don't even know if it does anything in this case Tongue) union with the Death Ring equipped. Spammed it until I practically ran out of hearts, but he died just when I thought it wouldn't be enough. 8D

Ach, you guys and your combining different glyphs D: I just used pairs, and that was good enough for me! Melio Volcis (I think it was) and the flying thing was all I needed for his first form. For the second, I just used the speed glyph instead of the flying one. Took me quite a while, but it turned out ok. He was difficult, though.

...now to go through that cavern...

And I presume you've all finished the game, yes?

Wait, me being uhm..inexperienced, with the DS games, what happens to your original file when you start a New Game+? I'm just afraid it'll be deleted. LOL.

It's the exact same as in AoS. I.e. your file gets replaced with a new one. So if you're afraid of losing your progress I actually recommend you copy the file, if you have the room to spare. And, I mean, there's one extra mode and then hard mode, so unless you're sharing, I don't think you'll be needing a lot of files.

Oh, and I've finished EVERYTHING in the game. Aside from some enemy drops (but wotever) and Laura's quest. **** alexandrite...

You start a new game with all your items and most of your glyphs. Unlike the other games, you keep your level, so you can pretty much demolish everything.

I...see. I suppose I'll just take Sorrow's advice and copy the file and THEN start the hard mode using a New Game+ (since I'm still planning to play and explore more using my original file. Grin)...

That's what I did. I wouldn't want to get rid of a file in which I did so much on. I still need to beat all villager quests, and clear the Training Hall in my hard mode file. I wonder how long it will be until I actually get back to playing OoE. After Judgment, there are still so many games I want to play.
