Well, here's wishing you a happy happy New Year. This day always gives me mixed feelings... sometimes it's sad, at other times not. In any case, how do you guys feel about New Year's? What are you all doing?

Be with the old people, the New Year's Eve blues have more trouble getting to you when you're not alone.

As for me, I'm going to a party I'm not really looking forward to. I may leave early, who knows, but I dunno...

This day always makes me upset because another year is gone and I haven't really accomplished anything. Tongue

You should socialize a bit, Watsa. o.o

Happy New Year, guys. Smiley

I'm rather upset for the same reason CVfan is.. Another year has passed by and I have nothing to be proud of. But hey, a new year can mean a fresh start. Let's be optimistic! Cheesy

I'm staying home, but I like it that way. Tongue

This morning, I made an organized list of new things that came into my life in 2010. Notable things are that I tried and realized I didn't need therapy, got my permit, got a job, saw a few concerts and vastly expanded my music interests.

Anything good for you guys?

I work in a tiny, antiquated grocery store run by cheapskate Jews. ._.

Actually, it's a pretty good job, I only work a few hours once a week.

An old man stole some stuff, a **** called complaining about stuff she picked up from our store and carelessly spilled in her car all on her own an hour later so my poor boss had to go clean her car, my cousin worked there for a few weeks and got fired, my neighbor worked there for even less time and also got fired, we package the same crappy grated cheese in two different packages and charge twice as much for one (claiming it's a fancier cheese), and there's porno all over the walls of the break room. ._.

Yup, the glories of working life....

What about you, Lady Warry (lol, found this old nickname in a recent re-reading of this site)?

^LOL. Happy New Year then. According to superstition, what you just did means you're going to be issuing week-late greetings for the entire year!  Grin

Your work sounds.. o.o At least you haven't had to clean someone's car, right? I wonder, does your store make a lot of money?

I have had some fun experiences, but nothing really worth sharing.

Also, working life? What working life? I wish I had one. :| I'm still a student, with a year and a half to two years of schooling left. >_> Part-time jobs are hard to come by here, as it's so competitive everywhere. Even all the worst jobs are taken. Tongue

I fortunately have not had to clean a car, and those customers can shove it if they want me to. -.- I believe they do make a ton of money, but they don't dress like it, and certainly don't make their store look as nice as it could, nor buy things to make our job easier. -.-

Awww, no work for you? That kinda sucks.... what are you going to do after school?

Well after school, I'm hoping (and thinking) I have a good chance of getting a decent job. I mean, not everyone is an electronics engineer, right? >_< I HOPE I finish school soon though. Tongue
